The picture of our first Twin is dated 1949. That tells us that Twins have been with us from the early days of drag racing. Joel F. Naprstak, Byron Stack, and I
were members of the same Newsgroup. Someone was always coming up with a trivia question. One day Joel asked " How many Twin Engined drag cars can we name"? The search began. Old Drag News,
National Dragster, Hot Rod, Car Craft, Drag Racing, Modern Rod, Popular Hot Rodding ...... that had been safely tucked away were now being looked at again to find Twin Engined Drag Cars. It worked, from a
small begining list of 45, we now have 196 Twins.
Our goal is 200, need your help to get there. If you are reading this, you can help us get there. Search your memories, ask a friend, word of mouth is still a strong tool for gathering information. To all of our contributors -------- a BIG Thank You. More photos are always welcome.
